Beacon is a Discord events, polls, and notification scheduler. It delivers scheduled embeds, per-guild event boards, and timezone-aware reminders, so important announcements stop getting scrolled past.
Polls are defined in simple YAML and can be pinned to any channel, and every delivery is logged and observable from the built-in dashboard.

How it's built
Beacon is a Python, FastAPI, APScheduler, discord.py, Astro dashboard application, running on opi5-cluster and deployed via ArgoCD.

How to use
Beacon ships with an interactive control panel. Most configuration happens through Discord components, not slash commands. The slash commands below are entry points for the most common actions.
/help Alias for /menu; same interactive control panel.
/notification new Admin only Create a new notification. Walks through a guided flow to schedule an embed.
/events today Today's events (next 24 hours).
/events week This week's events (Monday–Sunday).
/events upcoming-week Next week's events (Monday–Sunday).
